We first crossed paths in the winter chill of Chicago, brought together by curiosity and an instant connection. On our very first date, we found ourselves talking about Udaipur, a place we had both visited and bonded over as one of our favorite corners of India. Little did we know that conversation would come full circle in the most magical way, with our wedding here feeling like pure serendipity.

Over the next eight years, life took us through different cities — Chicago, New York, Boston, and San Francisco — as we navigated graduate school and embraced new adventures, sometimes side by side and sometimes from afar.

Today, we share a life in New York and feel deeply grateful for the community we’ve built along the way. Our favorite pastimes include watching suspenseful murder mystery movies, taking long walks through the city, and, of course, indulging in Karan’s latest culinary experiments.
